Goodbye Bluesky

I quit Bluesky on Thursday, for good. I’ve said that many times in the past but this time it’s the truth. I am getting nothing but aggravation from that site, the ROI is below zero at this point, football be damned. It’s not even that good for college/NFL football anyhow this year.

This year it seems to heavily rely on following lists/starter packs to see any discussion but I don’t like the gatekeeping effect that lists have. I’d prefer following tags but it doesn’t seem that anyone is doing that this football season. It seemed a lot more prevalent last year so I’m not sure what happened. Maybe it is a victim of the declining use of Bluesky that I keep reading about. One thing is certain, use is not declining among crazy Leftists there. They can have it.
