Now I’ve gone and done it. I’ve signed up for another blogging service. This time it’s Pagecord. I’m a sucker for messing with blogging platforms and at $29 for the year I figure it’s a good investment in fun. What will I put here (going to just link to this post from Ghost)? Good question. For the moment it’s going to be the same stuff I post on Ghost. Right now my needs are pretty minimal so Pagecord’s feature set will handle it with aplomb.

The feature that interests me the most? Posting from email. It reminds me of the ease of posting to HEY World without all of the baggage that goes along with having a HEY account, $99 a year notwithstanding. Oh and no export for HEY World.

You’re locked in tighter than an anchovy in a tin.

That brings the number of blogging sites to three:

  1. Notes and Drafts - this site…on Ghost
  2. Notes and Drafts Redux - the new Pagecord site
  3. Enigmatic Airships - the Pika site

Again, no clue what I’ll be doing with all of these but it’s fun to play around. I had a lot of fun making the images for Enigmatic Airships. Maybe that’s enough? There are certainly far worse ways to spend a bit of money.

This Techlore interview with Rick Signes from Fastmail is very interesting. It’s long but they cover a TON of ground.

Long time customer of Fastmail. It’s an excellent service and a huge bargain. Can’t recommend it enough.

My note app du jour that you’ve likely never heard of: RemNote. It’s really geared more towards students and studying but I love it for just regular notes. The team there is really killing it right now.

Hey hey here we are in a new year! Welcome 2026! I rang in the New Year doing two things, one of which I normally loathe if I’m even awake when the clock strikes midnight: watching “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve”. Why this year? Because it’
