Wrote about kids and the news today.
It’s Christmas music season right? I tend towards the stuff from the 50s/60s — in other words the stuff I grew up on. But I also highly favor early music/traditional carols these days and nobody does them better than The Sixteen.
They have a huge catalog of Christmas music but my absolute favorite is “A Traditional Christmas Carol Collection Volume II”.
It reminds me of the old choral groups from the 50s/60s but much better arrangements, singing, and production.

The whole album is fantastic though!
Oh and a bit of good news: I got a promotion! Of course now I’m responsible for managing people but it’s the first promotion I’ve had in the…14? 15?…years I’ve been working at my current job. It’s exciting!
